You’re Not Helpless

You’re not helpless.

One of the primary ways to overcome something you dislike at work is to speak up. Rather than hating something and griping about it–do something! Speak up!

Take some responsibility for the change you seek.

Most bosses want to hear from you. They want to know what bothers you. That doesn’t mean your boss wants to hear you complain. He or she wants to hear your suggestions.

Turn your thinking and conversations from complaints to solutions. Then communicate your suggestions.

Not only will you move toward improving your job satisfaction, but you’ll make your workplace more productive and enjoyable for your coworkers.
